The forum ‘LES ASSISES DE L’ENSEIGNEMENT SUPERIEUR’, will focus on higher education and research, in particular on five central themes, namely – internationalisation of tertiary education, quality issues, research and innovation, labour market needs and employability and management of higher education institutions. I would like to welcome the participants who are participating in this forum  and who are prepared to share their views and observations with us and to discuss about the future of higher education in Mauritius.  I am pleased that participants from the public and private sector, students, academics, NGO’s are present for this important consultation.   I wish them all a fruitful deliberation.

  1. The forum was really enriching. As a PhD student in the field of Quality in Higher Education, this was actually a great opportunity for gaining new information and ideas for my research. Wish to thank the minister, for this commendable initiative.
