I congratulate all those who have
successfully completed the award course and I am sure that it will give the
students immense benefits personally and to do their work in more creative ways.
The MGI is a privileged partner in this development process and it has to
contribute in this process to help to meet the new challenges. My ministry will
continue to support them to find innovative and creative programmes to fulfil their
mission. The fields of languages and
cultures have vast potential for development and they must become a centre of
excellence in the region. I am confident that the Languages Resource Centre
will come with new programmes and projects and research, and make their
contribution to making Mauritius, a knowledge hub. I wish them all full success
in their endeavours.
