“Caravane de la Science” at Swami Sivananda SSS, Bambous

I was at an Interactive Session on the occasion of the visit of the Caravane de la Science at Swami Sivananda SSS. Through the interactive science demonstrations, exhibits and film shows, this caravan attempts to explain science concepts and their applications in daily life and encourage critical thinking.  An important aspect of the Caravan is to show the practical importance of Science and Technology in various sectors of the Mauritian economy and in daily life. I wish to thank the management and staff of the Swami Sivananda SSS for hosting the event, the Traffic Branch of the Mauritius Police Force, Fire Services, Ministry of Environment and Mauritius Oceanography Institute for their participation.  I would also like to make an appeal to the rector and teachers as well as the parents to motivate our young students to participate in such kind of activities.
