‘Final Consultative Meeting of the National Research Groups’

I proceeded to the opening of the ‘Final consultative meeting of the National Research Groups’, today at the Conference Hall of Cyber Tower 1, Ebène. I would like to thank the chairpersons and members of the five National Research Groups for their dedication and commitment, all the participants of the consultative meetings and work sessions, and all the participating organisations for their support in allowing their staff to invest their time and share their valuable expertise in the different thematic groups. My Ministry is providing the opportunity and a platform whereby each one of them will be able to suggest relevant research which we can carry out in view of alleviating the immediate problem but also in view of forecasting future issues and providing solutions. I hope that this Final Consultative Meeting of Stakeholders for the five research areas will allow the research community to confirm the priorities and also to identify areas of interest requiring a mix of competencies. I wish them all the best for their deliberations and discussions !
