I was at an Interactive Session on the occasion of the visit of the “Caravane de la Science” to “Dhunputh Lallah” State Secondary School. I have no doubt that such activities will enable the students to increase their knowledge in science which is crucial for the development of their young and talented scientific minds. With the support of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources and the PSSA, several secondary schools have been identified for this year in the four educational zones to host the event. The Caravane is therefore being organised jointly with the host school. Students and teachers of the host schools are encouraged to take part in the event by setting up an exhibition corner on science and technology. Other stakeholders are also being invited to participate by showcasing the applications of Science and Technology in their working environment. With the strategy of holding the “Caravane de la science” at schools, we are targeting our young and talented minds students in every corner of the island to encourage them to study science.
