It was my pleasure to be there this afternoon for the opening of the workshop on “A Coordinated Research Perspective on Sustainable Buildings in Mauritius” which is yet another issue of national importance. We were there to explore together practical solutions to some of the major challenges we face in this area. I hope that the Research Group will come up with strong recommendations in sustainable energy in general and in particular on the theme of today’s workshop which is converting existing buildings into positive renewable energy buildings in Mauritius. I wish them all the best for their deliberations and discussions of this afternoon.
