I launched the book, ‘Management – A Recipe for Success’, written by Mr. Parmaseeven Veeraragoo, which appears to be one of the four books written by a Mauritian Author on management. Writing and publishing books activate the process of knowledge sharing and development.  Individuals exposed to books require a thinking mind; societies and countries benefit at large. My Ministry with all its strategic thrusts and orientations aims at increasing, sharing and creating new “knowledge”.  We need as many University campuses and platforms as possible to achieve this noble aim.  For progress and democracy to move resolutely hand in hand, we need to create a learning population equipped with critical thinking and an open mind. My Ministry therefore encourages collaborative efforts public-private partnership initiatives, a knowledge-based economy and a people-centred progressive country. I strongly commend the book “Management – A recipe for success” to your reading.
