I met with Prof. Nalinaksh S. Vyas from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India accompanied by Mr. S.Venkanah of the University of Mauritius. Professor Vyas is visiting Mauritius in the context of the ‘International Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing and Operations Management’.
The world is small indeed. I was in Kanpur in April and we are setting up a cancer research collaborative project with CSJM Kanpur University. One of our students will be hosted by CSJM Kanpur for high level research in August and September thanks to the vision and assistance of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ashok Kumar.
