I met with Dr Joe Ravetz and Dr Ozcan Saritas, both from the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (formerly the Policy Research in Engineering, Science and Technology), University of Manchester and Dr. A. Suddoo, Executive Director at the Mauritius Research Council to discuss upon a ‘National Research Foresight Exercise’ (NRFE), which is in line with the 2010-2015 Government programme.

I was at the opening of the Science Week at Osman Peerun Government School at Medine, Camp de Masque, in presence of students and parents. The exhibition focussed on Science experiments, demonstrations on healthy cooking and presentation on global warming and Environment issues.
