I was at an Interactive Session on the occasion of the “Caravane de la Science” visiting the Hindu Girls College. It gave me an immense pleasure when I see students and professionals organising and attending such events that will allow them to increase awareness of science which is very important for the development of our young and talented scientific minds. Organising the “Caravane de la Science” is indeed a very laudable initiative which encourages our students to consider a career as scientists and researchers and paves the way towards the creation of a technological base for the Mauritian Society. I therefore congratulate the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre in presenting our younger generation with the necessary platform for building a culture of creativity and innovation in Science and its related issues. My sincere thanks go to Ministry Education and Human Resources, the PSSA, the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre, the Hindu Girls College and all stakeholders. I would also like to impress upon the rectors and teachers to motivate their students to participate in such kind of activities. I wish all students all the best as they pursue their passion in Science and Technology. I am confident that they will rise to meet the challenge and be a significant part of our nation’s human capital to realize a prosperous and vibrant nation.
