It gave me an immense pleasure to be there today at the New Educational College in Bel Air for the ceremony to commemorate the 50^th anniversary of the College. I extend my warmest congratulations and thanks to the Manager, the Rector, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college for organizing this golden jubilee celebration. It is most praiseworthy to note that this college has over its 50 years of existence contributed in a very significant matter to provide secondary education to deserving students in the region. I thank the College for its contribution to the educational sector in Mauritius. Congratulations for this golden jubilee, and let this College march on a new dawn and continue to produce shining citizens and teachers in all its future educational endeavours!
