It was indeed
a great pleasure to associate myself with the opening of the ‘Caravane de la
Science’ at Ebene SSS Girls. The
Caravane de la Science is an innovative activity launched by the Rajiv Gandhi
Science Centre and my ministry, ministry of Tertiary Education Science Research
and Technology, back in 2010 with the aim of triggering the interest of
secondary school students. Since then
the ‘Caravane de la Science’ has already visited more than 25 locations in
Mauritius and Rodrigues. Science and Technology play a predominant role in our
life and with increasing technological advancement, our life will be governed
by Science and Technology.
