‘Working Session with a delegation from China’

I had a fruitful working session with a delegation from China comprising of Presidents and Vice presidents of various universities, visiting Mauritius in the context of China’s Higher Education Exhibition. We discussed various possible avenues of cooperation and collaboration between our tertiary institutions in Mauritius and those of China.

I met with Mr. Daniel TAU, Executive Director of the Bostwana College of Distance and Open Learning (BODOCOL) accompanied by representatives of the Open University of Mauritius. The aim of the visit was to exchange information and explore mutually beneficial partnership with the Open University of Mauritius (OUM).

I met with Mr Stephane Angevin , Manager of Asyasys Technology ,Dr Vincent Staf ,Director General of IOB and representatives from the Board of Investment. The aim of the visit was to discuss a proposal for the setting up of a school of osteopathy in Mauritius.
