It gives me immense pleasure when I see children and young persons participating in the ‘Science Fun Day’, that will allow them to increase their knowledge in science. Science is present in our lives daily in the house, at work, at school, in the bus, or when we are watching tv. We should understand how science has improved our lives – how electrical light come to our house, how mobile telephones work and function, how our body functions and how our plants grow and flourish or how we can avoid polluting our environment. My sincere thanks go to officers of the Chemin Grenier Social Welfare Centre, the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre and other stakeholders. I would also like to impress upon the parents to motivate their kids to participate in such kind of activities.
