It was my great pleasure to address the stakeholders of the tertiary education community from different parts of the world to this event-THE MAURITIUS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY & CAREER EXPO (10-12 feb 2012 at Free Port Exhibition Center, Mer Rouge).  Let me extend a warm welcome to those of them who have travelled thousands of miles to Mauritius. This year the Rotary Club of Grand Bay has broken its own record by having more than 80 universities from Australia, China, England, France, Holland, Malaysia, Mauritius, Pakistan and USA to participate in this event. The presence of these universities provides wider opportunities for all those who want to embark on tertiary education.  Students and parents are presented with wider choices in terms of countries, institutions, programmes and costs. I wish the different institutions a fruitful interaction with students and parents and I am sure that, this will be beneficial to the institutions and our students.
