I met with Mr. Chander Mohan, Executive Director at Creative Management Consultants, in Dubai, U.A.E, Lt Gen J.S Ahluwalia, President of the Institute of Directors in New Delhi, India, Prof. Indur Fagoonee, Chief Executive Officer at the International Sustainable Performance Institute ltd and Prof. Colin Coulson Thomas, from United Kingdom actually in Mauritius for the hosting of the ‘Masterclass for Directors in Governance, Risk & Compliance’ (GRC).

‘Meeting PTA President of schools in my constituency’

 

I met with the president of the Parent Teacher’s Association of schools in my constituency, the region of Montagne Blanche/GRSE.

‘Courtesy Call from Brown University’

 

I met Prof. Matthew Gutmann, Vice-President of International Affairs from Brown University and others, accompanied by Mr. N.Veerasamy, Managing Director of Veling, Aircraft Leasing, Aircraft Sales & Remarketing and Aircraft Asset Management in Mauritius. The aim of the visit amongst others was to discuss on ways to encourage more Mauritian students to apply for further studies in the United States Universities, irrespective of their financial situation and based on their merits.
