I had a video conference with Professor J.L Carpentier, Dean of the faculty of Medicine from ‘Les Hôpitaux Universitaire de Genève’ (HUG) and his team, to discuss the setting up of a school of Medicine in Mauritius.

Dr. Mtinkheni Gondwe, PhD, Senior Policy Officer, Knowledge & Innovation Directorate, of Netherlands organization for International Co-operation in Higher Education, actually in Mauritius for the International Conference on ‘Internationalisation of Tertiary Education’, was invited for the planting of a tree at the University of Mauritius.
