I was at the conferment of the degree of Doctor of Civil Law upon Mr. Bernard Gruson, Chief Executive Officer, Hȏpitaux Universitaire de Genève (HUG) and graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science and SSR Medical College held at the Paul Octave Wiehe Auditorium, Réduit.

 I met with Mrs. Margaret K. Chalwe - Mudenda, Director General, Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority (ZICTA), to discuss avenues of cooperation between Zambia and Mauritius in the field of Tertiary Education.
