‘Launching of New Exhibits at RGSC’

 

 

 

I thank the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre (RGSC) for inviting me to the programme in the context of launching of the new exhibits. My sincere appreciation goes to the Indian government for having facilitated the provision of those new exhibits, and to the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre Board for pursuing the journey for the promotion of Science and Technology in Mauritius. I would like to impress upon the parents present to motivate their children to participate in all activities that the Centre will organise in the future. I wish all young children all the best to pursue their passion in Science and Technology. I am confident that they will rise to meet the challenges and be a significant part of our nation’s human capital to realize a technologically prosperous and scientifically vibrant nation.

I thank the organisers for having invited me to the Opening Ceremony of the Africa Tour of Maitreya Relic Tour. This tour provides a very rare and unique opportunity to view the sacred relics of the Buddha and many Buddhist masters.  It is with these feelings and with profound humility that I invite you all to discover a very rich religious tradition with all the respect and with a positive mind.
