‘Visit from Amity University ’














































Following the signing of a memorandum of Understanding between Amity University and the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology, of the Setting up of a Post Secondary Education Institution in  Mauritius, Dr the Hon. R. Jeetah Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology met with Mr. A. Chauhan, Chancellor and Prof (Dr) Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor of  Amity University of India, in his office at Cybertower 1, Ebene. The visit was followed by a press conference held in the conference room of the Ministry.

‘Exchange of Documents’

 A memorandum of Understanding was signed between Dr the Hon .R. Jeetah Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology and Mr. A Chauhan Chancellor, Amity University India during his visit to India to attract foreign students in July 2010 for the Setting up of a Post Secondary Education Institution in  Mauritius. Amity University has been ranked the No. 1 Private University in India and is the leading Education group with more than 80,000 students studying in its 240 programs spread across 3 universities and 150 institutions. ‘Inauguration of JSS Academy Building Complex ’



























































































 





 





















Dr the Hon. R. Jeetah Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology attended to the Inauguration of the ‘JSS Academy of Technical Education’ Building Complex by Dr the Hon. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, GCSK,FRCP Prime Minister of the Republic of  Mauritius. The JSS Academy of Technical Education established in the year 2006, is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Karnataka, India and offers Four year BE degree courses in Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science.
