Dr the Hon. R. Jeetah Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology invited Dr. Woodrow Clark II along with the former Vice President Al Gore, in a ‘Planting Tree Ceremony ‘at the University of Mauritius. Dr. W. Clarke is a qualitative Economist and the Managing Director of Clark Strategic Partners (CSP) which is a consulting firm specializing on renewable energy for creating sustainable communities. In 2007, Dr. W. Clark was a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, due to his co-authorship and co-editorship for Third Report by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) from 1995-2000.
